Hi! My name is Radu and I'm from Romania. I moved to Amsterdam in August 2023 to study at the UvA. Since I know myself I loved animals deeply and sincerely. Moreover, I treat all animals with respect, patience and kindness and I love spending time with them and even learning from them! ☀️

Actually, my first answer to the question "What do you want to do when you grow up?" was to be an animal caretaker in a zoo. 😅

This started changing when I found that I would be doing pretty much cleaning after them and not interacting with them that much and it completely stopped when I learned about the conditions they are kept in zoos. 😔

I have had pets since I was born, from parrots to Guinea pigs, hamsters to cats and dogs. The only reason I didn't have more is because I wasn't allowed by my parents, because if I could I would have adopted every stray animal I found and provide them with housing, food and love. 🥰

I've always tried to help the stray animals I found and maybe try to find adoptive parents for them and the sole reason I don't have a pet here yet is that animals are not allowed in the building I'm currently living in. 😭

I really miss my pets at home and it would be a delight to spend some time with yours! 😁
