Hi! My name is Radu and I'm from Romania. I moved to Amsterdam in August 2023 to study at the UvA. Since I know myself I loved animals deeply and sincerely. Moreover, I treat all animals with respect, patience and kindness and I love spending time with them and even learning from them! ☀️
Actually, my first answer to the question "What do you want to do when you grow up?" was to be an animal caretaker in a zoo. 😅
This started changing when I found that I would be doing pretty much cleaning after them and not interacting with them that much and it completely stopped when I learned about the conditions they are kept in zoos. 😔
I have had pets since I was born, from parrots to Guinea pigs, hamsters to cats and dogs. The only reason I didn't have more is because I wasn't allowed by my parents, because if I could I would have adopted every stray animal I found and provide them with housing, food and love. 🥰
I've always tried to help the stray animals I found and maybe try to find adoptive parents for them and the sole reason I don't have a pet here yet is that animals are not allowed in the building I'm currently living in. 😭
I really miss my pets at home and it would be a delight to spend some time with yours! 😁

We had a fantastic experience with Radu while he watched our beloved Ginger. He was incredibly attentive and caring, ensuring Ginger felt comfortable and safe.
We especially appreciated the daily updates and photos he sent, which kept us at ease and informed about her well-being. His pre-visit to meet Ginger was a great way to establish trust and make the transition smooth.

Where to start with this wonderful pet and house sitter? Radu visited twice before the booking to get to know Meme and the house. On both visits, he took notes. He was punctual, detail-oriented, responsible, and most of all super loving and caring toward Meme. I had updates every day, and when Meme had an issue with her paw, he took her to the vet and provided the medication as instructed by the vet. On the day I was traveling back he asked at what time he should leave.
The day I came home, he had changed the sheets, taken out the garbage, watered the plants, and vacuumed. My house was spotless, Meme was happy, and so was I. I will definitely book Radu again for house and pet sitting and I recommend you do too. Thank you Radu and we hope to see you soon!
