ABOUT ME 👩🏽

German living in AMS for 6 years.

🐎I really love animals and it makes me happy to be around them! Since I am 5 years old, I have been horse back riding and spent my whole weekend at the farm with horses, goats, cats and dogs.

🐈‍⬛When I was 15 years old we adopted our black cat Mocca from Spain - she is still living with my mum in Germany.

🐶Since 1.5 years we also take in foster dogs from other European countries and take care of them until they find their forever home.

I would love to have a dog of my own as it makes life so much better, but I am still travelling quite frequently for work, so it wouldn’t be fair to the animal. Therefore, I would love to take care of your dog or cat, pet them, play with them, go on a nice walk and just have a great time together!

OUR APARTMENT 🏠

We live in de Pipj on the 3rd floor with typical steep dutch stairs. Small dogs (<10kg) I can carry, a bit heavier breeds will be difficult unfortunately, so they should be able to come up themselves.

We have a nice apartment with 2 balconies (the back one is secured with a net), fans, a comfy couch, cooling mats and dog toys. There is also a crate with blankets and pillows that will be left open at all times but can provide a safe space for our little guests. Our little guests are allowed to roam around freely as they please and are also allowed on the furniture if you also allow it at home.

I live with 2 roommates who also really love animals and both grew up with dogs as well. Obviously I will be responsible to take care of our little guests and be in charge.

We have 2 parks in close walking distance: Sarphatipark which provides a doggy park and lots of social interaction with other dogs from the neighbourhood, or Oosterpark which is a calmer and better for the more shy dogs.

WHAT I CAN OFFER 📋

I am working full-time and mostly work from home 3 days a week and 2 days office based (voluntary basis). I will only accept requests when I know that I have enough time for the dogs and could also stay home with them and/or take them with me to the office.

I want to make sure that I can provide at least 3 walks a day (anything between 20-60min, sometimes even 4 - incl a small pee break before bed, but depending on your pet's needs), feeding times as agreed on and of course time to play and cuddle.

Happy to receive your request and it would be awesome to get as much info as possible, i.e. walking and feeding schedule, feeding routine, any known allergies or other important things I need to watch out for, how do they get along with other dogs and in general what do they like / dislike. That way I can make sure that they have the best and most comfort stay with me until you are back!
