Over Jacki
I am now a retired person and have lots of time to devote to looking after animals. Since whenever I can remember animals have been part of my life. Whether it be the memories of my childhood Border Collie, Lassie, to my growing up with heaps of kittens from various litters of stray cats we took in. I was horse mad as a kid and began a life of horseback riding when I was ten. My husband and I had two rescue cats which shared our lives for a very long time. Bethor, we had from 5 months old, had a heart condition and eventually succumbed to a heart attack at the age of 16. Defur, we had at the same time as Bethor, but he was older at 18 months. He had to be let go after suffering a stroke when he was almost 21 years old and is still missed daily.
I will do whatever is best for your pet and will, I am sure, enjoy the experience as much as your beloved pet. I am particularly used to cats but also have some history looking after dogs. I have had the pleasure of looking after Guinea Pigs and Hamsters, along with slow worms and lizards. I have looked after the larger animals with horses and goats being the major ones. I have looked after friends’ animals, including a diabetic cat needing injections twice a day! I am happy to invite your pet into my own home or to stay at your home if that is more suitable for both you and your pet. I will do my level best to satisfy your wishes and the needs of your pet.
I have now completed my third year looking after pets via Pawshake. Clients have been mainly dogs, but also cats and a Rabbit. So far most of my experiences have been rewarding and enjoyable. I am happy that my clients have been pleased with my service and many have taken the time to write a review.
If you have any questions as to my suitability please do not hesitate to contact me.
