My name is Gaia, I am 20y animal enthusiastic from Finland. Together with my partner we wish to offer your beloved a purrfect vacation! We are currently based in Zaandam, next to beautiful Darwin Park 🌱

With 7+ years of active experience in caring for animals of all kinds and temperaments, I guarantee your family member will receive the most loving and professional care. Furthermore, I have worked in the veterinary field back in Finland for 3 years in 2 positions, so I've gained plenty of valuable experience throughout my journey. 

I can administer oral- and topical medications for all animals. I understand that the key to approaching these situations is patience and love.

Dogs have been part of my life as long as I can remember. I've also been involved in rottweiler breeding/ training activities enjoyed multiple dog sports throughout my life. Taking care of cats is more than familiar since I was blessed to live with two back in Finland, who I miss dearly every day. The same goes for guinea pigs, rats & hamsters. 

Your pet is welcomed to stay at our pet proof 4-room apartment, or if you wish, the boarding can take place in your apartment. I am able to move around the capital region and, for longer bookings, further afield.

 Is My Dog Comfortable with Stairs?:

Since we currently live on the 3rd floor (till December 2024), it's essential that your dog is able to safely walk up and down the stairs, this applies to dogs over 10kg and ones that cannot be carried.

Hygiene Guarantee:

To ensure a clean and comfortable environment for all our furry guests, it's important that your dog is either flea-free or has been treated with flea prevention medication before their stay. By doing this, we can ensure our guests stay happy & healthy. If you need recommendations for flea treatments or have any questions, I’m here to help!

Safety policy:

I have a deep love for all animals and compassionate understanding of fear and pain based behaviors. However, for the safety of all involved, it's important to note that if your dog has aggressive tendencies or poses a bite risk (that is not being managed clinically or with the help of a professional trainer), I may not be able to accommodate them. My priority is to provide a safe and loving environment for your pet, and transparency is key, both ways.
