My love for cats began in 2017 when I adopted Minnos, a 2-year-old stray cat in Istanbul. Before Minnos, I had very little experience with cats, aside from occasionally feeding the strays in my neighborhood. But when Minnos was threatened simply for her existence near our apartment by a very unfriendly neighbor, I couldn't ignore her any longer and took her into my home. Thanks to Minnos, I discovered that my heart has room for all cats, and really, all animals. After Minnos entered my life, I became actively involved in feeding, rescuing and caring for stray cats and dogs in Turkey. In 2020, I rescued my second cat Milka, who was only 2.5 months old and stuck in a car engine. She was weak, covered in fleas and very scared when I found her. Thankfully, she is now one of the cuddliest cats I've ever seen!

When I moved to the Netherlands in 2022, I felt a significant void from no longer interacting with stray cats and dogs. To fill that gap, I began pet sitting for my friends in the Netherlands while they were on vacation. Shortly after our move to the Netherlands, I had frequent trips back to Turkey for family reasons, which meant that I had to leave my cats alone and luckily trusted friends supported me during these difficult times. This is why I understand from my heart how hard it is to leave your pets behind and how important it is to find someone reliable.

That's why I created this account—to help you feel at ease when you're away and to fill the gap of caring for strays by making new furry friends. It's a win-win situation!
