Hi, I'm Lavinia, 27 years old. 

I recently moved here from Italy and work as a freelance UX designer, which allows me to manage my own time effectively. 

Over the past four summers, I've traveled the world taking care of pets through the website TrustedHousesitters. Now I found my forever home here in Amsterdam, and since I just moved I will not take any vacation this year.

I've had some amazing experiences, like spending a month in England caring for three dogs of different sizes and personalities. They were all girls, and each had her unique charm. Running on the beach with them every night made it the best August ever!

I've also had the pleasure of pet sitting in New York, where I took care of a little dog in the bustling city. Most recently, I spent Christmas and January in the Jordaan neighborhood, looking after a rescue dog who was quite needy. I had to be very careful while walking him outside. This reminded me of my own dog from my childhood, who wasn't good on the leash. Thanks to that experience, I know all the tricks to handle such situations effectively.

These pet-sitting experiences have not only allowed me to explore new places but also to bond with wonderful pets, enriching my experience in unforgettable ways.

I loved every second of every pet sitting i've done, i just truly love being around animals!
