Hello! My name is Jennifer and I'm originally from the United States. I moved to the Netherlands with my Dutch partner two and a half years ago. I am a lover of all animals and have been a pet owner my entire life until relocating to the Netherlands. I have experience with Dogs, Cat, Rabbits, Pot Bellied Pigs, turtles, fish, hamsters....you name it, I've owned it at some point in my life. Not having a pet at the moment, I find that I miss the connection and warmth animals bring into my life so I've turned to Pawshake as a way to get back in touch! Casper, my partner, is also fantastic with animals and shares the responsibility of giving your pet all the necessary love he/she needs! 

For home boardings ( our personal preference ), I understand that tailoring my services to your specific pet is important. Every pet and pet routine is different! My only goal is to ensure your pet feels at home in our home. Animals who stay with us quickly become part of the family and are allowed to join us on the couch or in our bed if thats how they feel most comfortable! Casper and I stay connected with our pet owners via group chats so we can share updates or answer questions you may have. It's also great to be able to share photos of your pet enjoying their holiday here with us! Our house is located in the city center of Dordrecht. The city center in Dordrecht has a strong community feel to it. We are known as the couple in town with lots of different furry friends to visit with. On walks, we often meet our neighbors and friends along the way who are also excited to give your pet some attention and love! 

If you are in need of someone to check in our your pet I'll tidy up, feed them, cuddle them and photograph them so I can show you what a good dog/cat you have! If you need your furry friend walked, I can drop by for stroll. Getting out in the fresh air is important to my personal well being and just as important to an animal! Multiple check-ins a day are also an option! Please bear in mind that I am only able to do check ins that are a short walk or cycling distance from my address. 

Our home is spacious and has a good sized balcony. There is lots of space to walk about in our neighborhood. Casper and I are currently working from home on independent projects so our schedules are flexible and open Your pet will not be left alone for more than a small trip to the grocery store. Pictured in my profile is our living room and balcony and a few of our previous home boardings enjoying! Your pet will only be offered access to the balcony with your approval. In the winter, the balcony is not available for use. 

We live at the foot of the Grotekerk so we have a nice lawn and a small calm harbor nearby that all of our clients enjoy strolling around!
