Hi, my Name is Verena, a 32 year old German woman living in the Netherlands. I do speak German, English and Dutch (still working on it :) ). Since i was a little child i was surrounded by pets. First it was cats and when i was 10 years old we got our first dog. From that time onwards we always had at least 1 cat and 1 dog in our home. Our first dogs were from a breeder and we went to dog school with them. Having the experience how to take care of dogs in the best possible way, we started taking dogs from rescue shelters. That is how i learned how to be around dogs with a difficult past and to give them a loving home.

Since i moved to the Netherlands i did not live with pets anymore. Although i do miss it a lot, i did not get my own pet yet as i am not able yet to give my future dog the backyard he or she deserves. Animal love starts with renunciation. 

However, i do love being surrounded by animals (horse riding is my passion) and therefore i want to be a pet sitter. To help pet owners to go on a trip etc. with the knowledge that their pet is in good hands. I have taken care of the cats of my friends every know and then when they are away. Due to my job (monday to friday 9-5) with flexible Home Office opportunities i offer to either house sitting, home visits 1 time a day to feed the cat and/or dog or dog walking. I am familiar with several breeds of dogs and also cats.

As I am able to work at home sometimes, I am flexible with my time and are available in the morning, afternoon & evening (Sometimes I do have mandatory work meetings). As i still need to go to the office sometimes and need to have a certain flexibility there, i am unfortunately not available for regular arrangements.

I can offer short walks during the day and longer walks early in the morning or late in the evening. 

For home visits I can stay up to an hour with the pets and water the plants as well as bring in the mail. 

If you are looking for a house sitter, I can stay up to one week in the house and make sure the pets are taken care off, the house is always locked and the plants are watered.
