Gretel

Hi! We're Gretel, Mo & Chandra. We're a family that loves animals and enjoys sharing our home in Amsterdam with furry friends. Gretel is from Venezuela, grew up with many pets (dogs, rabbits, hamsters, turtles) and she gets excited about every dog that crosses her way. Mohammad is from Egypt, he is crazy about cats and knows really well how to massage a dog. Chandra is a 1.5 year old dachshund with lots of energy and loves playing with other dogs. Gretel and Mohammad have been on Pawshake for 3 years, and are experienced in training dogs and teaching them tricks. We have family by the coast so some times when visiting we like to take them for walks at the beach. Perhaps good to know, Gretel adores speaking to all animals.

Our home is in a street that has plenty of space for dogs to walk, play and interact with other dogs (see in photos). As we both love walking and work (mostly) from home, we really like to share our long walks with dogs. We can walk dogs every day between 4 to 5 times for 15min and one time for 45min (5-6 in total). On weekends if the dog is comfortable with it, we can also take him/her with us to the market, cafes, etc. We are located between Rembrant, Erasmus and Vondel parks, making it an ideal location for dog entertainment. We used to host all sizes of furry friends, but now that we're a family of 3 (with our Chandra), our Amsterdam size apartment can only take one more small dog at a time for them to remain comfortable with enough space to play (see in photos the space of the house where the pet can be). Our apartment does not have a garden, but we do have a sunny balcony for pets to enjoy (see in photos).

Goes without saying that we provide a lot of love and cuddles to the pets we take care of. We can also follow diets and rules as requested.
