I have been a dog care professional for 20 years, and within that have been training dogs for 15. I am dog (and cat) CPR and first aid trained and am comfortable with all breeds, ages, and sizes.
I specialize in working with dogs that other folks have rejected and dogs that have some kind of difficulty with something, from leash pulling and leash aggression, to basic discomfort with new humans to working on adding a new family member (baby or cat) to the home. When sceduling a walk with me, your dog will not only get good exercise, but will have the chance to learn paw-sitive behavior that you'll notice a difference!
Past pet-parents describe me as friendly, easy to work with, professional and loving toward their pets and family.
I offer 30 and 60 minute dog walks as well as training sessions (between 45 minutes and 1.5 hours as desired), overnight services, daycare, and In-home Visits. For in-home visits and overnight services, I am also competent at cat and small animal care, and will keep your home well cared for (bringing in the mail, watering plants, and general tyding, etc). I request that all pets are appropriately vaccinated, and will ask to see proof. Please note my prices reflect the inclusion of Pawshake's 19% on every service.
All walks include various forms of basic behavior training and leash walking ettiquette; I provide treats (please let me know if your dog has specific allergen information) and ensure your dog is well taken care of during the duration of the walk.
Each home visit includes a 15 minute walk, plus care for your pet. Home visits are 30 minutes in length
Daycare includes 30 minute walks; less than 4 hours = 1 walk, 4-8 hours = 2 walks. In addition to the 30 minute walks, your dog will have a short break outside for about 10 minutes for every two hours in my care.
House Sitting (overnights) and Boarding also include 10 minute first and last "short walk" in the early morning and at night before sleep.
For daycare situations and overnights taking place in my home, please note that your dog must be comfortable with an elevator and must be housebroken. I have a medium female (and spayed) labrodoodle who is a former service dog; the bonus is your dog will get extra socialization and learn extra behavior techniques!
I strongly believe that your dog is a part of your family and should be treated as such. If you're looking for someone who values your dog, is going to go above and beyond the scope of general care, and will top it off with training and professionality, I'm your human!
